credit card information is not stored on our web site. It is transmitted through secure servers. Discount Area

Methods of Payment
Discount Area Rug Shop accepts Mastercard, Visa and Discover Network through our online secure ordering
system. If you would like to buy an area rug using a cashier's check or money order as your payment method,
please email us at service@discountarearugshop.com for further instructions. All orders by cashier's check or
money order will be processed upon receipt of payment. Sorry, we do not accept personal checks.
Warranty
Hellenic Rug Imports offers a one year warranty for manufacturing defects.
Shipping Method and Delivery Time
All orders are processed upon receipt of payment authorization. Orders are shipped directly from the
manufacturer. The shipping method is UPS Ground. Delivery time is typically two to three weeks and is based
on the volume of UPS deliveries within your area. Please allow at least three weeks to receive your area rug.
Discount Area Rug Shop proudly offers free shipping on all area rugs. Discount Area Rug Shop currently only
offers free shipping to the contiguous states within the United States. The free shipping offer excludes area
rugs shipped to Alaska, Hawaii and/or APO/FPO addresses. Discount Area Rug Shop does not currently
accept international orders.
Sales Tax
Since Discount Area Rug Shop is based in Columbus, Ohio, we are required to collect sales tax from Ohio
residents. The sales tax rate will range from 6.50% - 8.00%. Your sales tax rate is determined by your county of
residence. To verify your sales tax rate, please visit the Ohio Department of Taxation web site for the most
current information by clicking here.
Return Policy
If you are not satisfied with your area rug, you may return it within 15 days for a refund. We do not accept
damaged or soiled area rugs. All items must be returned in the original packaging. IMPORTANT: All returns
will be charged a 25% restocking fee. You must email returns@discountarearugshop.com to obtain a Return
Authorization Number which must be attached to the outside of your package and identified as "RA #". If you do
not have a Return Authorization Number, your return will not be accepted. Please include your name and
address in your email. We strongly recommend that you use a carrier which insures packages. Your shipping
cost to return the area rug is non-refundable. Please make sure that you send an email to
returns@discountarearugshop.com to let us know the carrier and tracking number so that we may properly
credit your account less the 25% restocking fee once your return is received. Please include your name and
address in your email. Please note that the 25% restocking fee will also apply to area rugs returned as
non-deliverable.
